Who We Are
HELP for Pets which stands for "Humane & Ethical Lives, Please," is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1990. Our mission is to ensure that all pets live humane and ethical lives by promoting the health and welfare of animals in the Greater Danbury area. Our small team of volunteers strive to address animal overpopulation by decreasing the feral cat population, provide low cost spay and neuter, find loving homes for pets in need, and improve the lives of all animals in our community.
